From 28 June 2025, new legal requirements for the accessibility of digital services will come into force. The aim is to give all people - regardless of their individual abilities - equal access to digital content and functions. In future, websites and applications will have to meet certain standards that take equal account of technical, editorial and design aspects.
This article provides a compact overview of the most important requirements and shows how EGOCMS can effectively support you in their implementation.

Images must be provided with alternative texts (except for purely decorative elements; check via the integrity checker)

-
Text on images should be avoided (exception: logos)
