EGOCMS Newsletter module in detail
Design newsletters according to your individual ideas and send them to all registered subscribers. Flexible sign-up fields allow you to customise the sign-up to the newsletter. Your visitors can even sign up for specific categories so you can create customised newsletters for different areas of interest.
Registration for the newsletter takes place via a form in which the e-mail address is requested. However, you can also add any other fields for this form.
Optionally, create individual subscriber groups to offer your visitors the option of subscribing to only selected subject areas when registering.
- The recipients of a newsletter can be freely selected. They can be all subscribers or any subscriber groups.
Unsubscribing requires only the entry of an e-mail address.
- Both when subscribing and unsubscribing, an e-mail with a confirmation link is sent. The visitor must click on this link within 48 or 24 hours in order to complete the registration or unsubscription(double opt-in and double opt-out).
- These security mechanisms also protect against unwanted bots. The subscription and unsubscription to the newsletter is therefore also DSGVO-compliant.
- With extensive settings, you can customise the newsletter according to your needs. Special SMTP settings for sending, an ignore list for certain email patterns and file attachments are just some of the possibilities.
- Your newsletters can use different templates to bring more variety into the presentation of your newsletter content.
- Check the newsletter before sending it via an integrated preview that uses individual placeholders or send the newsletter to a specified e-mail address for testing.
- The newsletter dispatch takes place in the background and easily handles even large e-mail volumes. The resources of your server are optimally preserved.
- Sent newsletters are automatically archived.
